Used for difficult-to-cut materials such as stainless steel, HSS and very hard materials. Tungsten tooth tips with a hardness of 92 HRC are mounted on a chromium-alloy backing band. These blades have very high wear resistance and allow higher cutting speeds than bi-metal blades, reducing machining time. The tooth tips are wider than the body thickness listed in the table.
